The offering of NME–Next Mobility Exhibition continues to grow. The Expo-Conference organized by Fiera Milano and dedicated to sustainable collective mobility will take place from 13 to 16 May 2026 at Fiera Milano.
The vehicles, technologies and solutions featured at the event are preparing to showcase the transformation of collective transport, with a proposal focused on the dual transition: energy and digital.
On the vehicle front, 2025 marked the definitive breakthrough of battery-electric traction for urban operations: in Italy, 1,230 e-buses were registered last year, of which 1,201 in Class I (out of a total of 1,821), accounting for over 65% of total urban registrations. At Next Mobility Exhibition, the leading manufacturers will be present, showcasing the best of their ranges: BYD Europe; Irizar e-mobility; Iveco Bus, with the E-Way; Karsan, presenting its full electric 6–18 m range; the Italian-made solutions of Menarini, with the electric Citymood; Solaris Bus & Coach, exhibiting the Urbino; and Yutong.
The technology supply chains that are reshaping public transport are also well represented, particularly in terms of intelligent service planning, digitization of operating systems, advanced electronic ticketing, data management, payment integration, digital mobility governance and digital services for citizens. Among others, there will be AEP Ticketing Solutions, A-Tono, IVU Traffic Technologies Italia, Kentkart Italia and M.A.I.O.R.
Completing the picture are players operating at complementary levels of the supply chain, representing intelligent infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, automation, electrification and energy for mobility, including Driventic, Hess Italia, Nidec, Swarco Italia and Schunk Dienstleistungsgesellschaft.
An offering that represents the entire value chain of sustainable mobility: from physical infrastructure to the vehicle, from industrial production to digital systems, and through to services for citizens and operators, building an integrated and systemic vision of the mobility of the future.
