Coxx Mobile Solutions is manufacturing its X-Low van chassis for front-wheel drive electric vans from Stellantis (Citroën Jumper-ë, Fiat e-Ducato, Opel e-Movano and Peugeot e-Boxer). This chassis has been available for the diesel versions of these models for some time.
These Coxx battery-electric vehicles have the same dimensions as the diesel-powered versions. Owners of a diesel-powered Coxx can therefore easily switch to emission-free transport. In some cases, the body can even be easily remounted onto the new chassis.
Coxx’s modular X-Low chassis are available in various wheelbases and lengths. They are made of high-strength steel and have a lightweight construction.
The new electric chassis retains the complete electrical systems of the original Stellantis vehicles. The battery is safely integrated into the Coxx X-Low chassis.
The electric Coxx X-Low vehicles have a gross vehicle weight of 4250 kg and are suitable for use with a category B driving license. They are approved (if registered with a gross vehicle weight of 3500 kg) to tow a trailer with a gross vehicle weight of 2400 kg.
Since the X-Low’s frame height (in loading/unloading position) is only 41 cm, it is possible to construct vehicles with high accessibility without the need for a hydraulic tail lift. Examples include parcel vans, mobile offices, or transporting roll containers. Advantages include a low center of gravity, effortless and fast loading and unloading, safer working conditions, a higher payload, and the ability to install large-volume boxes.
