From May 4 to May 7, 2026, MEILLER will present a broad spectrum of innovative solutions for the disposal industry at IFAT in Munich. These include the TRIGENIUS three-way tipper, TECTRIS skip loader and TECTRUM hooklift on 2 and 3-axle trucks from a variety of manufacturers. In addition, this long-established Bavarian enterprise will also be presenting a brand-new DUAL-TEC TRAILER for transporting containers, a development that is suitable for transporting both a hooklift container and, additionally, up to two skips. Moreover, MEILLER will also present the TECTRUM TRAILER model which incorporates the SmartBoard control system which, on the occasion of the international exhibition, can be ordered at especially favourable rates and delivered carriage paid at extremely short notice. MEILLER will, in total, be exhibiting seven tipping superstructures and trailers on its trade fair stand in the FM.811/2 outdoor exhibition area and the VAK (Verband der Arbeitsgeräte- u. Kommunalfahrzeug-Industrie e.V., or the Association for the German Tool and Municipal Vehicle Industry) parking area, an outdoor exhibition area (FM 713/3) traditionally used for the “Truck in Action Show”.
A MEILLER innovation for combined applications
The occasion of the IFAT marks the commencement of sales of the new DUAL-TEC TRAILER, and this will be unveiled to the public at this venue for the first time. This combination model expands the portfolio through the addition of a flexible trailer (BTA) for transporting containers which can be deployed for a variety of applications. The twin-axle MK series trailer will be launched for a technically permissible gross weight of, selectively, 18 or 20 tonnes. The differentiation is reflected in the official type designation of BTA MK18-ZL 5,4 or BTA MK20-ZL 5,4. The 5,4 here stands for a wheelbase with a length of 5,400 mm. The vehicle frame essentially resembles that of the well-known MEILLER container transport trailer of the MG series. The chassis has a rigid ladder frame that is cathodic dip coated to ensure lengthy durability and, consequently, extreme corrosion resistance. The slide tracks consist of high-strength, low-wear steel. The drawbar can be pneumatically lowered, allowing selective loading of skips or hooklift containers from both sides. A standard feature of the 2.60 metre long drawbar is the 40 millimetre drawbar eye. Alternative drawbar lengths and other drawbar eye versions are available if required.
The new DUAL-TEC TRAILER is suitable for flexible transportation of up to two standardised DIN skips with a loading capacity of five to ten cubic metres or a hooklift container with a length of 5,000 to 7,000 millimetres. This reduces the shunting duration and ensures that the disposal combination is available again more rapidly on the street. Transportation of the skips is achieved with folded container stops which can be varied in width. These also serve as a support surface. The container supports have somewhat raised edges which act as lateral guides when depositing the skips. They simultaneously secure the load. The new trailer for transporting containers has extensive standard equipment, including an LED floodlight, LED rear lights, a SmartBoard control system, disc brakes, lateral securing lugs for additional securing of the load, a screw-fitted underrun protection and tool and net boxes. The trailer is optionally equipped with a complete fairing, a reversing camera and a spare wheel holder with a spare wheel and drum brakes.
TECTRUM TRAILER model at special rate
MEILLER shall offer the TECTRUM TRAILER model at a special rate for a limited period. Customers benefit from a variety of equipment options on attractive terms, rapid availability and free delivery to the customer. The trailer for transporting hooklift containers with a length of 5.00 to 7.00 metres is employed in daily heavy-duty operations in the disposal business and has extensive standard equipment which can, additionally, be evaluated through a SmartBoard control system. The cathodic dip coated trailer model impresses through its corrosion-resistant vehicle frame, enclosed low-deformation outer roller guide, plug-fitted container stops and quadruple pneumatic container locking. Furthermore, the special offer container transport trailer in the standard configuration is equipped with DIN compressed air connections (yellow/red) and a quick-release coupling to facilitate problem-free connection to any tractor vehicle and ensure immediate availability for use.
TECTRIS AK14 MT
No waste management exhibition is complete without the TECTRIS AK14 MT skip loader from MEILLER. The Munich family enterprise will exhibit two of these all-rounders this time. One functions in combination with an e-truck, the other with a classic vehicle with a combustion engine. Optimised for twin-axle chassis with different drive systems, both are designed for a nominal load of 14 tonnes. The reliable skip loader series with a reinforced loading platform design ensures that a high level of efficiency is achieved. As with almost every product from MEILLER, the steel components of the TECTRIS are cathodic dip coated. This process provides optimum corrosion protection and ensures greater imperviousness to scratching and stone chippings. This means that, in combination with i.s.a.r.-control 3 radio remote control, the customer receives a superstructure that is easy to operate, also from a safe distance, and simplifies the working process through sequence control. Networking the superstructure control with the tractor vehicle contributes to energy savings and lower pollution and noise emissions. Intelligent functions such as sequence control, which accelerates working processes through automated working cycles, and the load-dependent high speed together make the TECTRIS AK14 the new “bread and butter” vehicle for companies who wish to differentiate themselves from the competition through use of the correct tools.
The superstructure rests on a twin-axle chassis with a wheelbase of 3.50 to 4.20 metres and an overall weight of up to 20 tonnes. The loading platform on the skip handler performs superbly without an additional subframe. This results in a low tare weight and high payloads. The high-quality hydraulic system developed by the company facilitates speedy and sensitive manipulation during operations. The MEILLER dual circuit pump facilitates extending of the stabilising jacks and telescopic arms which is precisely synchronised, practically noiseless and not influenced by the load involved. A helpful option which is available is the “Comfort Plus” load securing package. It secures the loaded container through hydraulic container clamps and container locking mechanisms. Drivers can save a great deal of time as a result, as container locking is realised automatically and is integrated in the intelligent sequence control.
TECTRUM hooklift – a double pack
The TECTRUM hooklift was developed by MEILLER for high load volumes, large container dimensions and handling different container types. Designed for continuous operation, the hooklift impresses through its robustness and the long service life of its components. The hooklift has an enclosed frame profile, a low tare weight and a lengthy service life. MEILLER subjects load-bearing steel components of the TECTRUM hooklift to cathodic dip coating treatment to ensure a high level of corrosion protection. Two different versions of the TECTRUM RS21 will be displayed at IFAT in Munich. The lifting force of both hooklifts is 21 tonnes in each case. This means it is predestined for a 3-axle chassis with a total weight of up to 28 tonnes. The modular design facilitates optimum adaptation of the superstructure to the respective chassis. The extension modules bolted to the base frame move the superstructure as close as possible to the driver’s cab. This reduces vibration and noise development during the journey, considerably enhancing driving comfort. A particularly flat base frame means that the centre of gravity of the superstructure is low on the chassis. This enhances stability and driving safety. The TECTRUM RS21 also provides optional container supports made of high-strength plastic for low-noise operation in residential areas or when operating at night. They lessen noise when moving containers and, simultaneously, reduce friction.
The TECTRUM RS21 can load containers with a volume of up to 50 cubic metres with ease. Transport volumes of up to 100 cubic metres can even be achieved in conjunction with a TECTRUM TRAILER for transporting containers. An internal hydraulic lock is provided to secure the load of the container after raising. MEILLER provides the hooklift in two versions. In addition to the version with a classic sliding hook arm (T version), the company will be exhibiting the TECTRUM RS21.60 hooklift with hydraulic system for municipal winter service in the more complex TS version. Its telescopic hook arm is not only telescopic, but also swivels. This means that the thrust-bend device can both extend and swivel. This additional function permits the user to keep the container flatter when pulling it into position, something which is very useful in, for example, underground car parks. When it comes to the lengths of containers to be transported, the swivelling arm also enables the achievement of enormous variance. The entire TECTRUM RS21 system is designed for convenient, user-friendly operation. The i.s.a.r.-control 3 remote system ensures that the driver has practical, intuitive control over all functions of his hooklift from a safe distance and, simultaneously, a clear view of the entire process. MEILLER now provides a front attachment plate for snowploughs and other attachments for the winter service vehicle exhibited, and this conforms to all applicable General Safety Regulations (GSR) for all newly approved heavy trucks in the EU.
TRIGENIUS three-way tipper with loading crane
The classic items in the MEILLER tipping superstructure range include the TRIGENIUS three-way tipper series with efficient bulk material and general cargo transportation on a construction site. The Munich enterprise will, for example, be exhibiting the TRIGENIUS D212 crane tipper at IFAT in municipal authority orange with winter service equipment for heavy tandem axle vehicles. The three-way tipper with additional side walls which can be inserted is distinguished by a unique modular structure and a uniform design with smooth surfaces. They set standards for ergonomics, operation and efficiency in the sector. The TRIGENIUS steel tipper consists largely of high-strength steels. Processing of this thin sheet material made of fine-grained steel is realised using robot-assisted laser welding technology which, with minimum welding distortion and consistent quality, MEILLER has mastered to perfection. The traditional manufacturer from Munich has also realised the lightweight design concept on the tipper body floor through optimised component design. In addition to using high-tensile steels for the loading platform and weight-optimised M-Jet style side walls, significant payload advantages are also achieved to a certain degree. Furthermore, the TRIGENIUS is known as a versatile champion for efficient bulk material and general cargo transportation on the construction site. If desired, the side walls can be equipped with the tried and tested MEILLER Bordmatic with an integrated LED safety light, enhancing safety during unloading on the construction site or roads. The self-adjusting MEILLER side wall locks are an ergonomic design, noise dampened and doubly secure in the closed position. Numerous individual adaptations to the most varied customer requirements can be realised with ease, thanks to the increased use of bolted connections.
The loading crane is fitted completely with bolts and totally free of welds, thanks to the patented crane mounting concept which employs a crane screw console. This enhances efficiency during crane mounting and considerably improves the surface quality of the vehicle and tipper frame. The crane interface is made of high-strength coated steel. The console is protected against corrosion and was designed to facilitate mounting, regardless of the manufacturer or method employed to attach the loading crane. This universal compatibility facilitates fitting of different crane types to the front or rear areas. In addition, any adjustment or harmonisation of specific cranes to the vehicle is dispensed with, and this considerably increases the selection and mounting options for loading cranes.
The loading crane of the TRIGENIUS D212 is mounted between the driver’s cab and tipper body, making the vehicle a real champion when it comes to versatility. The combination of a three-way tipper and crane considerably expands the application spectrum of the reliable three-way tipper. In addition to smooth transportation of bulk and general materials, the TRIGENIUS crane tipper can also load and unload itself and, additionally, be used for precision lifting and positioning of loads. This multifunctional usage cuts costs and enhances efficiency, as fewer machines and vehicles are required on site. This makes the TRIGENIUS and its loading crane the ideal solution for municipal applications, a variety of construction projects and complex construction site requirements.
