Steadily growing demand for testing capacity
- To increase acceptance of ADAS, automakers and importers have dramatically increased the pace of sensor development. The need to refine the sensor technology of safety features is growing, especially after the new legal requirement for new vehicles to be equipped with ADAS.
- At the same time, 2025 marks the beginning of particularly innovative years. A flood of new models is forecast for 2025 alone – around 155 in total and 70 all-electric models in Europe. Both of these factors will increase the demand for testing capacity for ADAS driving functions.

Today, ADAS driving functions are a central component of vehicle safety and automated driving. Extensive, reproducible testing under stable conditions is essential to validate these systems. Until now, car manufacturers have faced limitations: During the winter season, weather conditions often limited testing on European routes.

At the site in Casablanca – with access to one of the most modern test tracks in the world – all Euro NCAP-compliant scenarios as well as customer-specific test scenarios are mapped.
All relevant ADAS sensors are used: camera, radar and ultrasonic sensors as well as optional lidar systems are tested and validated in coordinated scenarios – under constantly predictable climate, weather and lighting conditions.

Testing is performed by independent ES-Tec teams on site. Data and analysis can be exchanged directly with the customer. Both the ES-Tec office in Casablanca and the test infrastructure along the route are fully TISAX certified.
