Kässbohrer has delivered a 3-axle platform semi-trailer, K.SPS 3, to Gebr. Markewitsch GmbH. The delivery took place at Kässbohrer’s Ulm/Achstetten facility in Germany, with the participation of Martin Markewitsch, Managing Director of Gebr Markewitsch GmbH, together with Faruk Karakılıç, Area Sales Manager of Kässbohrer.
Gebr. Markewitsch GmbH is a German provider of crane services, heavy haulage and assembly logistics. Founded in 1946, the company supports a wide range of infrastructure and industrial projects across Germany and Europe. With its fleet of mobile cranes, heavy-duty transport vehicles and specialized lifting equipment, Gebr. Markewitsch carries out complex operations involving oversized and heavy loads. Combining transport, lifting and installation services, the company ensures reliable and efficient project execution.

The Kässbohrer platform semi-trailer range is engineered with lightweight construction to increase payload capacity, with a tare weight of 5,865 kg, enabling higher payload efficiency and reduced fuel consumption.
The ingeniously designed robust chassis is manufactured with high-strength S700MC steel, compliant with ISO 1726-2 and ISO 1726 affording ideal load distribution and load and road stability for safe and efficient transport. The chassis is KTL and zinc-phosphate tri-electron coated, guaranteeing 10-year rust perforation protection and long-term durability.
For Gebr Markewitsch GmbH, the delivered Platform semi-trailer, K.SPS, features high-strength and flexible load securing accommodating concentrated, wide and mixed load types and their combinations.
Through the combined use of pillar pockets, floor and side lashing rings, as well as the patented K-Fix system, the trailer allows operators to adapt load securing layouts to different load types and loading scenarios within the same vehicle.
For this delivery, the platform is equipped with 10×2 pillar pockets integrated into the side raves, together with a multi-row pillar pocket layout, providing multiple robust attachment positions along the platform. These pillar pockets enable the securing of construction machinery, steel structures, and precast concrete elements that require lateral support and controlled load positioning. Floor lashing rings with up to 5 tons provide stable anchoring for concentrated loads such as machinery bases and compact heavy components, while side rave lashing rings enable the securing of wide loads extending across the platform width.
The patented K-Fix load securing system enables flexible fixing positions for palletized goods and mixed load combinations, maximizing the load factor of the platform semi-trailer for operational efficiency.
